This viscose velvet ribbon is a joy to dye! You can achieve sumptuous shades using Procion MX dyes. You can use any other suitable dyes, and they are rather lovely dyed with subtle natural dyes. Use it for trims, jewellery-making, weaving, mixed media and more. The ribbon is cut from lengths of velvet and is about 2-2.5cm wide - there may be a few joins in the length, but not many. It does fray and may need trimming to neaten after dyeing - because of this we advise using a mask when working with it dry.
