Archivally pure, additive-free non-toxic powder - mix with water to make a paste. For silk paper making, papier mache, paper lamination, sizing in marbling, general art and craft use. CMC will keep for maximum of one week in a fridge. (Make sure that it has not been adulterated with anything else.)
