Textured raw tussah silk, hand-loomed in India from precious Eri/Peace silk where the silkworm is allowed to emerge naturally from the cocoon.

Thee fabric is full of natural slubs and variations, which are part of it's inherent charm.

We recommend washing the fabric with Synthrapol or a gentle hand wash liquid before dyeing, to remove any natural sericin. Cool hand-wash only, some shrinkage is to be expected.

The fabric is approx 140gsm.
