Hand-loomed in India from eri/Peace silk where the silkworm is allowed to emerge naturally from the cocoon, this fabric has a cotton warp thread. The fabric will have natural slubs and variation, which are part of it's inherent charm. We recommend washing the fabric with Synthrapol or a gentle hand wash liquid before dyeing, to remove any natural sericin. Cool hand-wash only, some shrinkage is to be expected.
